Our Facilities

Our facilities at Kilkenny flower and bulb have evolved since our establishment in 94 to efficiently cater for all aspects of bulb and flower production.

Our flower processing facilities include:

  • Cutting room for standardising flower lengths.
  • Cold room for storing flowers.
  • Wash room for ensuring all our flowers are clean.
  • Packing room for packing flowers to the consumers needs.

The above procedures are to ensure that our flowers are of the highest quality when they leave our yard.

As bulb processing is far more complicated there are far more machines and processing lines.
These include:

  • Intake cleaner line for taking the bulbs into the yard from the field.
  • Cold air and hot air drying walls for drying bulbs efficiently and quickly.
  • Inspection and size grading line for removing poor quality bulbs and sizing like sized bulbs together.
  • Grading and bagging line for bagging the bulbs for sale.
  • Sterilising tanks for sterilising the bulbs post harvest and pre planting to ensure our bulbs are disease free.
  •

A combination of all of the above facilities has put Kilkenny flower and bulb in a position to be able to process large amounts of flowers and bulbs efficiently and cost effectively.
