Flowers: Fresh Irish flowers: All of our flowers in Kilkenny flower and bulb are hand picked selecting only the highest quality flowers from a selection of thousands. Using early, mid and late flowering varieties allows us to pick, pack and ship our flowers all within 24hrs of the flowers leaving the field thus preventing a build of older poor quality flowers and ensuring that all our flowers are fresh when they arrive on the shop floor.

Beautifully presented bunches/arrangements: all of our flowers after being hand selected are then standardised in bunches of ten by levelling the flower heads and cutting the stems to a standard length (usually 30cm). The flowers are then banded and boxed into labeled boxes. This is the usual method for processing however this can be adapted to suit customer specifications. Bouquet arrangements are also a made up to customer specifications using fillers and contrasting flower arrangements.

Delivery arrangements:  through trial and error testing over the years we have developed an extremely efficient field to shop floor delivery system. All deliveries are packaged ready for sale on leaving Kilkenny flower and Irish orders can be met within 24hrs and international orders within 48hrs. All orders are made up as you the customer wants even catering for weddings and specialty occasions.

Bulbs:

Disease free stock: At Kilkenny flower and bulb, we take disease control very seriously ensuring that all of our stock is free of disease through rigorous grading and sterilising after harvest and before replanting. Since our establishment Kilkenny flower and bulb has met USDA (US department of Agriculture) disease free standards which are rated as the toughest in the world.

Varieties range: Since establishing Kilkenny flower and bulb we have sought to continually improve and add to our varieties here in Kilkenny. From early to late, white to red to yellow rest assured we have something to suit your taste.

Packing/bagging: bulbs can be purchased to suit the customer needs, be they 100 tonne, 1 tonne, 100 bulbs or 10 bulbs. All bulbs are sterilised, brushed, sized and packaged before leaving the farm gate to suit the customer needs.
